We spent time today introducing the concept of arc lengths and sector areas in circles. Both of these figures involve working with a fraction of a circle that is found by using the central angle and then comparing it to the entire 360 degrees of the circle. We did a few problems together before getting started on the homework problems.
Assignment: section 11-6; page 453; classroom exercises #1-4; written exercises #1-10
